Five Friday Faves from famazon

January 24, 2020

So I know “Famazon” was a stretch, but I really wanted an alliteration, so

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have a penchant for ordering things on Amazon, and telling yall that they’re the best things EVER! But it’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a roundup and shared them on the blog. Nothing on this list is more than $20, and I included a sixth item because it’s hard for me to narrow things down. I AM WHO I AM! 🙂

But also, can we talk about how you’re still not following me on Instagram, and the literal shit show you’re missing out on every day?! Big mistake! HUGE! #namethtatmovie But also, follow me HERE!

And as always, I’m so appreciative of your support in purchasing things through my Amazon affiliate links! I make a small commission whenever you do, but it’s important to note, that it’s at no extra cost to you!

Let’s get to my current favorite finds…
(click on the titles or the pictures to get to the direct links of the products)

I know hard boiled eggs aren’t HARD to make, but for some reason, I feel like they’re one of those things I kind of have to babysit! ‘Is it boiling?’ ‘Should the lid be on or off?’ ‘Was I supposed to simmer for five or seven minutes?’ ‘Don’t let them sit too long, or they’ll get a green ring!’ ‘Do they need an ice bath right away?’ And so on! I saw another blogger talk about this egg cooker, and how easy it was to use, and how it made perfect eggs every single time, so I snagged it! And it lived up to the hype! You can make soft, medium or hard boiled eggs, as well as poached, and even omelets! They cook in minutes, it sings a little song when they’re ready, you barely rinse them in order to handle them, and they practically fall out of the shell when you peel them! GAME CHANGER. Get this too if you make a lot of egg salad like me.

My friend, Kelly, insisted I get this when she used it on her couch, and this gadget made it look new again! Little did she know I already had it in my cart, but I just hadn’t pulled the trigger. As we were chatting about it, I noticed I was picking at my inner thigh fuzzies on my leggings, and thought, ‘I BET THIS THING CAN TAKE THEM OFF?!’ and ordered it right away. It worked exactly like I thought it would, and thus created the newest slogan, “Get this fabric shaver…it’ll take off chub rub!” I’m still flushing it out, but I think I’m on to something LOL! It’s also meant for sweaters, comforters, coats, etc., but feel free to use it wherever you have fuzz balls that need to be removed!

I’ve seen Madi Nelson talk about these key ring bracelets, and I found the holy grail on Amazon for yall! I’m talking 34 options, from snake skin to leopard, stripes to solids, and everything in between! So make sure you click on the one I got (above) and scroll through all of them to find the perfect one! I don’t carry a purse everyday, so I love slipping this on my wrist, and freeing up my hands from carrying my keys.

I have been searching for the perfect no show socks, and I think I’ve finally found them! The material is super soft, the seam isn’t on the toenail, and there are rubber skids on the inside of the heel to keep them from slipping off of your foot! Click on the link to see the color options!

Listen, I’m no doctor, but I’ve been doing A LOT of medical research and digging lately. If you didn’t read my latest blog post, I highly recommend it HERE, to catch you up on the BIGGEST health-related thing ever to be revealed in my life (and that’s not me being dramatic for once)! I do know that gut health is super important, and taking a probiotic is one of the best things I can do for my body. These came highly recommended (ranked #1 probiotic) and have around 6,000 5 star reviews. I’ve been taking them for two weeks and have noticed things moving much better if you catch my drift 😉

Here’s your bonus entry! I’ve had these fitted sheets clips for six months because I wanted to try them for a long time, and make sure they REALLY worked, and I’m here to report that they’re amazing!!! We have a super thick mattress from IKEA, so our fitted sheet was always popping off, but not anymore! If you’ve been having a similar issue, I recommend them 100%!

And here’s something I found out about a year ago about Amazon that I’m not sure everyone knows, so I’m here to spread the word! We all know about Amazon Prime and us getting the items shipped to us free, but you can also return things to Amazon for free! It’s as simple as clicking on “Orders,” finding your item, clicking on “return or replace items,” pick the reason from the drop down menu, and then choose how you’re going to return it. Most times you can drop it off at a UPS store or Kohls and you don’t even need a box! They’ll just scan a label that will be in that order area in your account, and your email, and totally box it up for you! Once in a blue moon, you’ll have to print a label before you drop if off (or pay $1 for the store to do it for you). And there has been one time that I did have to pay to ship it back, and it was deducted from my refund, but that was the exception. not the rule. So I feel like ordering things on Amazon is nearly risk free!

That’s my haul for the time being, but I also rounded up my Amazon faves for my holiday gift guides, and I still stand by those choices outside of the holidays! So if you’re ever looking for great gift options, for any occasion, check the guides out HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE! I guarantee you’ll find something else you’ll love!

    About Me

    Hey Peeps!

I'm Miranda, and I'm formerly lots of things (I sold dumpsters, fro-yo, and car parts to name a few), but most recently I was a cakery owner of Got What It Cakes. I'm a mom of two daughters whom I call my "minis,” and the wife to Joshua, whom I call "Stud" (yes, he's even in my phone under that name). Most days you can find me oversharing about my insane life on my InstaStories, in a segment I call "carpool confessions." Follow along as I decide what to be when I grow up, while I navigate my other love, the queen city of Charlotte! I also tend to go by "Mayor Miranda," and am awaiting my key to the city ;) Read More

    xo, Miranda
